French Classic Cooking Class: Summer Series

Saturday, July 18, 10am-12pm

Learn the culinary tricks of the trade at your favorite French bistro, Mon Ami Gabi. On Saturday, July 18, class will be in session as Executive Chef Andrew Fleischauer presents a three course how-to menu of signature summer dishes, including Smoked Ham & Gruyère Tartine with mustard and watermelon radish, Grilled Chicken and Asparagus Salad with romaine and grana padano and Strawberries Briand for dessert. Bringing your appetite is a must, as attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy each course paired with French wines. To top things off, all guests will receive a recipe booklet to recreate menu items – and show off their culinary skills – at home.  The class is priced at $55 per guest (gratuity not included). Space is limited; please call 301-654-1234 to reserve.

Farm to Table Dinner

Take your Monday night to a delicious new level at our summer inspired Farm-to-Table Wine Dinner! Join Executive Chef Andrew Fleischauer for an interactive dinner featuring five seasonal courses showcasing fresh produce and ingredients from our local farmers. Enjoy Head Cheese from Bounty Hill Farms, Chilled Roasted Tomato and Lobster Soup, Pan-Seared Chesapeake Bay Rockfish with grilled corn salad and basil purée, Porchetta with Ratatouille and Bacon Fat-Fried Potatoes and finishing with Peach Pie with Blackberry Ice Cream for dessert. Sip on a variety of French wines as you talk with Chef Andrew, as well as featured farmers who will join you for dinner to answer any questions you may have about the carefully sourced and crafted dinner. The evening begins at 6:00pm with a reception featuring farm-fresh cocktails followed by dinner at 6:30pm. The cost is $70 per guest + tax (gratuity not included).
