Petite Cookie Cutters Class

Calling all pint-sized chefs! On Saturday, May 30, class will be in session – Petite Cookie Cutters Class, that is – at Mon Ami Gabi for children ages 12 and under. From 9:30am to 10:30am, children 12 and under can learn how to make their own cookie dough and cut it into fun shapes and sizes. As the cookies are sizzling, little bakers can design and decorate their own aprons. The delicious fun continues at home too, as all attendees can take their sprinkled cookies and decorated apron home with them, and parents will receive a $10 gift card to Mon Ami Gabi. The event cost $13 per child, plus tax (gratuity not included). To reserve a spot, call 630-472-1900.

On Tuesday, May 19, relish the fresh flavors of the season at Mon Ami Gabi’s May Flowers Wine Dinner featuring five exquisite courses prepared by Executive Chef Bruce Williams, perfectly paired with French wines. Enjoy Lobster Cakes and Cream of Asparagus Soup to start, followed by a mixed greens salad, Seared Halibut and Rack of Spring Lamb over couscous and to finish, Strawberry Crêpe with Sour Cream Ice Cream for dessert. French Classics Cooking Class

Celebrate springtime with a French Classics Cooking Class at Mon Ami Gabi! Presenting a three-course how-to of signature seasonal dishes, Executive Chef Bruce Williams will guide the class through three recipes: Spring Pea Soup with Asparagus and Minted Crème Fraîche, Branzino with Parisienne Gnocchi and a Fennel Velouté, and Almond Meringue Cookies with Rhubarb Compote and Vanilla Ice Cream for dessert. Enjoy each course alongside perfectly paired French wines. To top things off, all guests will receive a complimentary recipe booklet to recreate menu items–and show off their new culinary skills–at home.
